Great pub, very welcoming. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Food was good quality, I was particularly impressed with my burger, however every member of our group felt the portion sizes were a little mean for the price.
We walked here from sissinghurst took 2+hrs lovely walk we turned up and they were friendly. Dog friendly and gluten free friendly I had gluten free larger with gluten free BBQ ribs. Amazing

What a lovely pub. With low ceilings and oak beams - a real 'olde worlde' ambience. We had a fantastic roast there today followed by a very tasty dessert.The service was excellent, with very cheerful and polite staff looking after us.I thoroughly recommend this pub. We shall return soon.
