A Saturday evening meal out with friends at this very nice public house. We had a large party, so food service was a little delayed due to a small mix up on the order. The food selection was great and the food quality was also very good. We will return for their festive menu in December.
I was with a party of 14. The service was excellent . All the meals arrived hot . Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The staff were attentive but not ‘in your face’. We were all given a card with a number and QR code on so when ordering everything was transferred to the card so payment was easy as when the card was handed to the barman he knew exactly what we had to pay . A brilliant system .Thoroughly recommendParking: Lots of parking spaces , avoid the potholes!

Ate twice, staff are superb - really welcoming and great at getting you in.Food on night one (pie) was excellent, Only thing that lost it a star was the Sunday roast: £23 for turkey and beef that was leathery, small, and presented like a school dinner.Overall a great pub though.
