John's Traditional Fish and Chips is far and away the best chippy in Gravesend. The shop has recently been done up and now looks immaculate inside and out.The food is brilliant, with a standout menu of all the favourites, as well as some slightly different options for a chip shop. The scampi is particularly good and the onion rings are great too.The service is perfect and the staff are always speedy, efficient and polite.Highly recommended.
I have had cod, plaice, scampy and battered sausage on different occasions with chips and always lovely. There is a queue sometimes but it goes down very quickly - if you want to miss tha, order by phone before you go.

Best fish and chips in the area. Tried several of the local fish and chips and always come back to this one. Even though we live further away we still go back. Food is decent size for decent price. Freshly cooked. Not too greasy.
