Bucolic Inn dating back to 1700's. Attentive waiting staff. We had Sunday roast beef which was good but bit skimpy on vegetables. My gripe is about the minimalistic size portion of the croissant bread and butter pudding. For an adult serving, it was only approx. 5cms x 9cms at a cost of £8.50! Another dessert was an acceptable normal size. The Dirty dog frankfurter in a roll was a ridiculous price nearly £16! My grandaughter's choice. We stayed overnight at the Woolpack and so were able to sample both food and accommodation. The rooms are charming and quirky and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel most welcome. The menu gave us a good choice and they run themed food nights, so their "specials" give a good variety. The chef was very informative and interested in our choices and experience. The village offers plenty of places to explore and walk off the wonderful food.

Charming and cozy inn with spectacular service. I stayed here for one night and wished I could have spent more time in the area. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy, dinner was delicious, and everyone was very friendly and hospitable. Courtney was very gracious and helped me book a private taxi to Ashford International so that I didn’t have to worry about finding a ride. As an added bonus, the inn is dog friendly. Highly recommend. 5/5
