Have now visited several times since the change of ownership and food and service has been excellent and pleased to see many gluten free dishes on the menu for one of our relatives.
I’ve become quite a regular at The Red Lion. The new owners are brilliant, so welcoming & interactive! It’s a lovely pub to go for drinks, plenty of seating inside & out. The restaurant side is cosy, the menu choices are great, not just the usual pub grub. The food is tasty, presented well with great service from the team. All very affordable. Everything about this place is great

Probably the best Sunday dinner we have ever had at a Pub/restaurant. The beef melted in your mouth, the roast potatoes were obviously home made and were delicious, also plenty of veg including cauliflower, carrots, broccoli. We will definitely return the next time we visit Hythe .
