A traditional Kentish country pub set in an enviable position, right on the beach, which offers an excellent range of drinks as well as quality pub food. The pub is located on the beach i Kingsdown. It is in a perfect condition and retains its period character. When we arrived the outside tables were almost full with people just having a drink (hot or cold) Inside the pub was bustling. We had already booked and were able to see a waitress who showed us to our table without having to queue at the bar which was busy.. The service was slick and the waiting staff were very friendly . Had a table booked for for New Year’s Eve. Pub was very busy and buzzy. Prompt service by great staff. Food was served hot and delicious! We were a table of 10 with 4 under 5’s so a challenging group but were made to feel very welcome. Well done to all your team - we highly recommend!
