We do not eat out very often due to finances but when we d we like to feel we are getting quality. Every time we eat here we love the quality. I had a burger with pineapple and bacon and it really was good. I believe it's from the local butcher. My wife had a roast (beef) and she was happy with the quality and the portion size. The staff are excellent and always make sure everything is ok. It's a treat for us to go out for lunch and this really was a lovely way to start our Christmas....read full review
Brilliant to find a proper old school British pub. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, good selection of drinks on tap and an excellent atmosphere generally. Would highly recommend.

Lovely pub with friendly staff.The food we ordered was actually homemade and it was delicious. The lamb was so tender that was coming off the bone. I would definitely recommend a stop.
