Stopped in for some lunch, great service from friendly staff. Had a lovely selection of tapas style sharers and ciabattas. Reasonable prices for drinks. Was busy but not too crowded. Plenty of parking.
This is a great family pub, a dying breed of a community hub. The drinks are not expensive, the staff are friendly and familiar and there are no mass produced chain-type menus because this is an indie pub which home produces its own, great, tasty, meals...I mean, how many restaurants can you say that their pies have MORE than enough meat in them? Oh and they're dog friendly too

A lovely meal in a very relaxed atmosphere, staff and customers chatted away easily. Our thanks to the staff who looked after us and were really good to the kids in our party.
