They take on too many delivery orders at one time. Most of their staff work on processing those leaving in-store orders to take the longest. There were about 11 delivery drivers waiting when I got in there, and everytime one left, another one came along to replace him. The wait for my 1 person order ended up taking almost 20 minutes with no apology.
Not a criticism towards this particular McDonalds but towards the UK scene altogether.Compared to its US counterpart, it is sterile and very lacking towards the "fun" part. Happy Meal toys are just pieces of paper compared to in the US.
