Staff were friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was busy enough for it to feel like being out but there was enough space for it not to feel claustrophobic.Food was excellent as was the wine, not overcomplicated but interesting, whole place nicely decorated and clean. We would definitely consider going back and trying some other courses.They seem to have got the balance right in every part of the operation.
Certainly pricier than your average pub but you get what you pay for. Top notch food & drink. The staff are well looked after too in comparison to competition which makes it all the better. I can't endorse the elite pubs chain more than I currently do. Pay them a visit!

The herbalist is a great pub, part of the elite pub chain which from the ones I have been to have all been similar.Food was fairly big portions and they cater for vegans if that is required (dairy, gluten free)
