A hidden gem in Marden. I have eaten at the Unicorn on a number of occasions and the food, atmosphere and staff have always been outstanding. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The carvery is one of the best I have had in Kent. Thank you Team Unicorn !

Organising a surprise birthday for a load of people can be tricky. My mum was given only a short time to live because of cancer so we did not think she would see another birthday. Needless to say, Nikki and her team at the Unicorn went above and beyond to make the evening feel so special. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely pub and beer garden!Staff here are very friendly indeed, but not too much. Looked after my friends and I really well and also dog friendly..... So that was nice!Lamb kebab starter, sausage and mash with onion gravy was sublime and banoffee for dessert.Prices are kind of average these days for this type of pub and food, but well worth it and would love to go back again one day!May bring the doggo for a pint in the garden though before I travel home! ???
