Proper old school micropub.Long and narrow with the far end (closest to the bar) decorated with countless pumpclips this is a terrific homely boozer.Only a couple of casks on, on the Tuesday night of my visit but the J J Cale and electric blues was a great accompaniment.
Woah I didn't expect this when I decided to sit down and have a rest at your Mirco Pub.I was expecting copper pipes and people with white coats ,but I was Blown Away.As I walked into the door that was it I felt at home. Every thing that has made me happy in my 60 years .There was a good atmosphere as I hobbled into the next room and there was plenty of music and I felt like a wee boy in a sweet shop . Love this little place. My first visit with my good friends Andrew and Amanda. I had a beer in there - Shivering Sands? I thought it was called Shimmering Sands. Whatever the name, it was awesome!
