Visited for Sunday lunch and food was very tasty when it arrived. Service was very slow & we had quite a long wait between each course. We had starters, mains, & desserts plus 2 x teas & coffees, but had to remind staff for extra drinks. The raspberry pavlova definitely needed more raspberries or a coulis to give it more taste. The pub was busy, but the service didn't get better as the pub emptied. It was difficult to park in the car park as there must have been 60+ cars parked...read full review

I was a bit wary as I had read very mixed reviews, but four of us went to the Moody Mare yesterday, and I have to say that I could not fault it. The staff, lovely, the service very good, and the food was very, very good. Pleasantly surprised and will be back.
