For a birthday lunch on a Sunday, The Plough and Harrow Greek Taverna was a perfectly decent spot. I'm not going to be too critical here because its charm could be quickly tarnished by comparing this Taverna to finer eateries. Despite the fact that the owners are not themselves Greek, there's a home-cooked honesty to this place. Do not expect fine dining, but do expect plenty of well cooked food. The food in this place is absolutely delicious, fresh, homemade and so flavoursome, the baklava is THE BEST we have ever had and we have travelled to Greece alot, very much recommended, only criticism is to turn the greek music up a little and heating in the toilets ?
ABBA Tribute night as a Christmas party. £35 included a glass of bubbly on arrival, food & entertainment. We arrived at 7 and had kebabs, lamb chicken and vegetable, lovely garlicky potatoes, baklava to finish. The abba tribute act on and they were fantastic!
