Gardener's Retreat offers a mixed dining experience. While some customers enjoyed their Gammon with pineapple, peas, and crisp chips, as well as a delightful Cream tea with a variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls, and desserts, others found the Platter to be overpriced and disappointing, with small portions and cheap pre-cut bread. The service, however, is consistently praised as excellent and prompt.
