We are so lucky to have a local traditional pub with a great team of people and you can see that Claudia & Brett know how to run it. There is a good selection of drinks, and if you like beer the Timothy Taylor is always spot on. The waiters and waitresses are always courteous and helpful. The restaurant produces hearty home cooked fresh food. We look forward to having our Sunday dinners here. Went here for a Saturday evening early dinner with the family as we were staying locally.Clearly a popular place locally and the Saturday steak night was clearly a big attraction! We decided to order from the regular menu instead but the food was still amazing, loads of steak in the steak pie, lasagne bubbling with cheese and great meals for the children, loads of really nicely cooked vegetables which are often missing at a pub dinner too! We went for NYE and didn't have food-just drinks. We enjoyed the great atmosphere, people all so friendly, brilliant local DJ, read the room so well. Thank you for helping 2024 arrive with a bang!!
