First time visit today, decided to stop by this gorgeous place as from the outside looked quaint and pretty. When inside wow the place is beautiful. Old wood and the atmosphere feels so luxurious. The service is outstanding although so busy staff were smiling polite and really seemed to enjoy working , I know from experience this isn’t always the case, but the staff really gave off happy vibes. Our first visit to Rochester and we came upon The Cheese Room Botanicals. We had a delicious lunch, good value for money, very good service. Smiling, happy staff. The lady working ‘front of house’ was a Superstar! Only working there for two days, absolutely on top of everything, polite, friendly and very helpful.

We came to Rochester to visit the Castle and Cathedral and stopped here for a bite to eat. We sat outside as it was a sunny day and shared a sourdough toastie, some chunky chips and some aubergine chips. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
