I eat all over the South of England. I am also a fat git... So when it comes to food i only want the best around. This Indian has a turnover of waiters as the owner is always helping them. Hence sometimes the service is a little what we as English are not used to. The dishes are very unique and have to say special. If your boring and no knowledge of Indian food just have a madras. This indian has some unique dishes that have a wow factor. They have a mango chicken awesome flavour. Mixed meat starter is just awesome...garlic Aloo amazing. This is not an indian for the snob in a suit, yes the food is awesome but this is an indian with people who are human average nice people trying to help there relatives come on in a difficult world. Your not going there to make friends but if you want to they are extremely friendly. I personally think its the best Indian on the Romney Marsh as there special dishes are in deed special. As i said have eatern all over the south of England only indian that compares is one Chatham... If you want something special and you are a nice human being they have a special dish and not a madras and onion bargee as you have not got a clue about mixing the flavours you are offered. If you dont want spice try the mango chicken, mushroom rice, garlic narn and garlic aloo. Then pick your phone up and give them 5 stars... larger is always cold and tastes fresh. Happy eating.Parking: Street behind and ajcent parking.

Food is very nice, service with a smile also. If your driving to this restaurant the parking is very limited.Advertise a meal deal during the week i have never tried but its an option for a cheap cheeky midweek meal out.

Was recommended this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Everything about the experience was 5* my only regret is that this establishment is 160 miles from home. Highly recommended...

Had my daughters birthday here, lovely people. They put banners up and bought a cake, food was lovely. My only complaint is that they made me pay the deposit in cash, but it didn't really matter.

Absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, couldn't fault cleanliness and the prices are, in my opinion, too low. I would definitely go again

What a disappointment, we drove passed and decided to sit and dine, from the beginning the service was shocking, no drink orders taken for 15 minutes and 20 minutes before any food order was taken, after asking 3 times, was strange as there were only 3 tables that were taken at the time, even the young gentleman - who kept passing up and down in between tables, his communication was terrible, all the chicken tikka starter was rubbery and cold and had to be sent back and the mains lacked flavour and were warm, like that had been sitting on the side for some time, it says it all when the best part of the meal was the garlic naan - even that was bang average - we decided to inform the “manager/owner” of the unpleasant meal and he just laughed it off and said there were very busy!

I order every 3 to 4 weeks it's always been amazing and I alway's pay the same amount of money but tonight I thought I would order something extra well to my surprise i got charged an extra £20.00 I even got a phone call off one of the workers from a mobile number not the business asking me for my security code on the back of my card I've never doubted them before. I also spoke with the manager he said he would ring back but never did. DON'T USE THIS TAKE- AWAY IF YOU USING CARD.....

How can a madras hot taste like a korma after asking for a madras hot. Thought this would be better than Khan's as they keep doing the same but how wrong we w)ere. We are paying top dollar around here for something I could cook from a jar, ridiculous!!

Amazing food reusable prices . Service a bit slow as only two staff members. It is midweek so let them off .Kid-friendliness: Happy to cater for fussy children.

The Guljar Tandoori Lydd, Romney Marsh On our last night of our holiday in Camber Sands we went for dinner at The Guljar Tandoori Restaurant. We had a very warm welcome by Mohammed who explained the menu of the Banquet Night. We ordered our food and soon had our starters which was well presented and delicious. The mains soon followed which was very plentiful and very tasty, each dish had its distinct taste and flavour. Everyone in our group was filled at the end of the meal. Yousuf at front of house was very friendly and professional in his approach. The set Banquet was very good value. The desert menu was not reflective of the food menu, it looked like pre-prepared desserts and not Indian based so we didn’t have desert. Overall very good food and good value.
