British Restaurants in Sevenoaks

“Looked on Google maps for somewhere near the M25/A21 junction and Bricklayers came up so called in on the off chance of a table. Arrived about 18:30 and all but one table was reserved so we were very lucky. We were seated in the restaurant which had a cosy atmosphere. Our waiter (sorry didn’t get his name but he reminded us of Tom Daley!) was very friendly and suitably attentive. Food was very nice, and I was a particularly pleased they offered smaller plates of most main courses for smaller appetites. Very glad we found it for a stop off on way to Hastings from Silverstone!”

“Excellent venue. Friendly and helpful staff, *amazing* food. The rooms are very nice too; sloping floors of a 600 year old building tastefully modernised and still retaining original features such as exposed beams, fireplaces, etc.”

“It's a great spot between hikes (or at the end)—a lovely pub with a good selection of drinks. Please note: they do not serve food between 4 and 6 p.m.Delicious Sunday Roast and good portion!”

“Our local let us down so we took a chance there would be room for us. We received a warm welcome and a choice of eating in a crowded noisy bar or empty restaurant. The restaurant was quieter. We ordered starters and a main course each. Portion sizes proved to be beyond our capacity to consume. Food arrived on warm plates (bliss) and was well cooked. Our five a day were in evidence. With hindsight we shouldn’t have ordered the starters as we couldn’t finish the meal, but we did enjoy it immensely. We will be going back - no starters next time.”

“Nice dining areas and menu - much more restaurant-like than pub-like. Wonderful food, and my medium-rare rib eye was perfectly cooked. Side dishes (salad, roated vegetables, onion rings, mushroom and tomato) were all excellent too.Friendly, cheerful service - thanx, Stacey!Adjacent to Premier Inn, and convenient to the Holiday Inn.Vegetarian options: For a place called "Beefeater" there's more available than you might imagine.Wheelchair accessibility: Step-free to most tables. Two accessible parking spaces right at the entrance.”

“Staying at the Donnington Manor Hotel, the Chartwell is attached. The hotel would also get a 5* review also.Firstly, the host who served us on both days (Deep) went out of his way to accommodate our wants. My colleague and I were so impressed by his service and needed to acknowledge his efforts. We had the salmon and sea bass on the first day - as recommended by Deep. These are both amazing dishes and highly recommended. The accompaniments are so well balanced and served, you have to try them.Day two we had the lamb shank and fish and chips. Again, both prepared freshly and cooked perfectly. Deep bought us out the changes we'd asked for the day before without us having to ask. His greeting was warm and those little touches made the experience memorable. The prices are so reasonable, I can't find fault.”

“6 of us booked on Sunday- the portions were huge! We all had roasts (chicken, beef and lamb), the Yorkshire puds were massive! We all struggled finishing as they were so generous. We all had desserts which were delicious. Best food in Sevenoaks! The restaurant's air con was bliss too. The service was excellent- staff all so friendly, attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Very clean as well. I cannot recommend The Bullfinch enough. They even have water, treats and special items for dogs!My friends drove all the way from Central London, and they're going to come all this way again just for the food!Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access, disabled toilets in easy reach.”
