Met up for (pre-booked) lunch with family ( party of 6), Friday lunchtime. A friendly & relaxed welcome, followed by excellent service, (always attentive but never in your face) with an excellent selection of courses. I must recommend the Game Pie - TO DIE FOR.....SERIOUSLY!! Also a good selection of beers, wines & spirits if you are not driving. Altogether a brilliant experience, although we live in the North of England this is a place we will return to the next time we visit...read full review
