We've dined here several times over the years, and it's consistently excellent. The food is generous, fresh, delicious - be it fish and chips or burgers or something a bit more refined. The pub itself is super cosy and warm with open fire and lovely interiors, and the tipi huts are excellent additions for an alternative dining space and the pub garden is a really decent size for summer dining. Sunday lunch with my two boys aged 9 and 10. Service was excellent and food exceptional. My boys were amazed at the size of the Yorkshire puddings and loved their Brownies. Have to say the roast dinner was lovely. Really cannot fault my visit and will definitely return.

This is a great place to eat . We ' pub lunch ' regularly in the area , London and East Herts and this is by far the best we have visited, and the only one we have been to more than once . The food is fresh , well prepared and served by great staff . Vege options good too .
