I was very impressed by what I saw on my visit to The Three Tuns. Everything about the decor is clean and sparkling, as was as cosy and inviting. My friends and I enjoyed a nice lunch, sitting at a round table, which made conversation easy. I chose Fish Pie and was delighted by its appearance and flavour. What a beautiful pub this is!Having travelled down south from Essex earlier today and had previously been made aware of this pub, so we figured we would pay it a visit on our way back home.First mistake was not booking ahead, but the staff couldn't be more helpful in making sure we could get a table somewhere and still order some food. Good food at reasonable prices - we had pies (nice selection) with mash. Service was the right balance of attentive and leaving us to enjoy the food. No automatic service charges, thanks for not forcing that on us!
