Visited on a Sunday afternoon. There is a separate vegan menu available but unfortunately no vegan option on the sunday roast menu.There were 3 vegan mains on the menu - a salad bowl, a curry and a burger. The salad bowl was sold out which the staff member was very apologwtic about. The curry tasted nice although lacked creaminess as it didn't have any coconut milk/cream in the sauce. Second visit to the Windmill. Only popped in for a drink but ended up having some snacks which were delicious. The staff were very welcoming. Lovely location, the sun was out (well a bit) what more could you want! Back again soon!
Overall a great experience. The food was lovely and the light batter to the fish and chips was a welcomed surprise. The peas were also delightful. The chips were ever so slightly not crispy but still all delicious as a dish.The cider on tap was obviously kept well as was perfect.The only minor (in bold) details would be the slight price to food quality on the other guests dishes and also a few more smiles from the staff.
