Tucked away behind the station, twinkling lights invite you into an amazing place. There is a snug cosy bar area with wood burning fire and armchairs. Then the larger old dairy area where the band played with lots of seating and a bar with all the beers and ciders displayed. They had my favourite cider Night Jar. I was chuffed. Excellent selection of beers, really friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The food trucks make it different each time (the pizza my son had on 5th August 2023 was excellent and the selection during the 2022 beer festival was superb) but always worth a visit. Generally a pleasant place to be whether popping in for a quick one (or as a stop on hike with the dog as it was for us) or for a longer, relaxed session with friends. What's not to like!

From humble beginnings a few years ago, this place has really expanded. Even since last summer, it's opened up into a wide cow shed to the side of the initial bar area. The new section, bedecked with beer barrels along the walls, looks like a venue for a beer festival - an impression that is enhanced by the wide selection of beers on offer.
