Great bit of banter with the two guys that were working there today, I had rare steak in French bread with mushrooms, tomato, onion and burger sauce. It was amazing, deffo heading back there to try some of the other offerings, mostly your usual all day breakfast kind of delights. The coffee was good enough to wake me up a bit, and was very much needed.
Why anyone would pass this gem and stop at a services instead is beyond me. If you like good quality English produce, you can be sure to find everything you need here. Cumberland sausage bap is incredible, Korkers Sausages, if you haven't tried yet are a must. This spot also sells fresh fruit n veg as well as juices which was perfect for two reasons: 1.
