Visited many times for lunch/dinner and have never had a bad experience. Really hearty, home-cooked style meals. Great lasagna, pies, Sunday roast, burgers and always a good selection of delicious specials.Fairly large garden with some covered seating. A children's play area. Dog friendly.Staff are friendly and well organized. You must pre-book for Sunday carvery. It's done in sittings, so expect to wait before it's your turn to go up (no queue jumping!). Sunday carvery is Absolutely delicious.. we got told told to try this pub/restaurant and have never looked back .. staff and landlady are exceptionally friendy and nothing is never to much trouble..Vegetarian options: Don't know

My partner and I had the Carvery and I'm a pestasarian so don't eat meat but everything else. Very nice food, all lovely and hot a variety of vegetables etc and the waitresses were very attentive, all clean and we had a very pleasant lunch.
