Taylors Ln, Trottiscliffe, West MallingLovely local find. Great selection of food. Portions are huge though. Parking can be a tad tricky (when busy). Super busy on a Sunday. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

47 Swan St, West MallingExcellent food, excellent service, one of the best high cuisine restaurants I have been to. Great wine list, cocktails, and selection of beers. Their dishes were beautifully presented and very flavorful. Definitely recommend this place. Reservations are needed and must pre-order your choices several days in advance.

29 Hayes St, Hayes, BromleyThe food and service were spot on. I had to give 4 stars as when I went to order a coffee I was told there was no oat milk and no other milk alternatives. Being lactose intolerant in this day and age isn’t really an issue anymore, however this establishment hasn’t had any milk alternatives on both my latest visits! Come on George Pub…. Do better, it’s 2025!

Bowleys At The Plough
Taylors Ln, Trottiscliffe, West MallingJust taken my wife for her birthday. We had the 12 course meal. It was absolutely fantastic food and fantastic service. It was a lovely touch having the kitchen staff come to the table and explain what was in the plate. The staff very young but absolutely perfect in every way. Thank you so much for the experience we will be back.

213 Strand, Temple, LondonWhat a glorious celebration of Georgian spendor. The pub looks fabulous outside. And inside the dining room upstairs is wonderful and Victorian in decor. Food is excellent. Good quality with generous portions. Staff are lovely too. Very attentive.

The staff were so professional, friendly, and attentive, making us feel really welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. High St, West MallingVery lively pub/restaurant offering good food and a good choice of wines and spirits. It's in the middle of the historic town West Malling where there is off street parking and a car park at the rear of a Tesco which is almost opposite. West Malling has a variety of shops and restaurants and lots of places to visit that are of historical interest, plus Manor Park which is great for all the family to visit.

The George, 55 Great Portland St, LondonI literally think this must be the best pub in London, all round pub that is. The staff and especially management are absolutely 10/10. It merges the best of old school London pubs with modern pubs. Beautiful design, fantastic food and well looked after beer. Have never had a bad experience.

35 Swan St, West MallingI’ve visited The Swan in West Malling three times now and overall it’s always been a really nice place to go. The atmosphere is great with very good vibes, and it’s somewhere that feels welcoming and comfortable each time I’ve been.
On my first visit the food was amazing and really impressed me. However, on the last two occasions it was just okay and unfortunately didn’t quite live up to the standard I experienced the first time, especially considering the prices they charge.
That said, the staff are always lovely, friendly and very welcoming, which makes a big difference to the overall experience. The place is also consistently very clean and well kept.
I’d definitely still come back because the atmosphere and service are great, but I do hope the food returns to the same high standard as my first visit.

The old Rectory, Oxley Shaw Ln, Leybourne, West MallingWe booked in as a group of over 20 for my sons birthday meal and we had great service from booking too on the night. Melanie who served us and dealt with all requests on the night was absolutely fantastic, she was so friendly and polite and made us feel so welcome.

15 High St, West MallingWe visited for the first time and had a very enjoyable lunch. Manta was excellent explaining dishes to us and it was really good to hear that many of the ingredients came directly from Thailand.
We both enjoyed the starters of fish cakes, dumplings and wrapped prawns. We followed this with crispy Thilapia fish with chilli, garlic and basil and pork with sweet and sour sauce, both were excellent. Manta recommended the pandang and coconut pudding which was amazing and worth all the effort it took her to make it.

Great choice real ales, lagers and ciders. Open all day Thursdays through Sundays. Mondays to Wednesdays opens 4pm. Excellent brunch style menu at reasonable prices. At moment food available all day Thursday/Friday & on Saturday 5-9pm. Hopefully they will extend to all day Saturdays at sometime & maybe bring back Sunday food which they did at one time.

High St, West MallingVisited Frank's as a pre-booked party of 8 for a joint special occasion yesterday (28/02) and we were not disappointed. Service, ambience, food and even the cocktails were absolutely spot on and I couldn't fault a thing. Our waitress was fantastic and so attentive. Food was enjoyed but everyone, we ordered a variety of steaks, mussels and lobster, as well as starters and desserts - we're already planning our next visit!

2 Little E, East Malling, West MallingAn impromptu visit recently with my children but was unknowingly in the window between breakfast & lunch. The server was very helpful and made me a ham salad sandwich as after the walk from East Malling I didnt have much time.
The Fresh loaves of bread on sale were great value & the selection of cakes very tempting
Would recommend better signage on foot as I walked the whole way round following the road signs not realising it was in the middle of the buildings

I still have not found another pub that keeps the Harveys Best bitter so well - if you still need convincing to come here they have an outstanding chef who has converted me to pies amongst many other things. The landlord and team behind the bar are relaxed and welcoming. They always have fires in the winter. I cannot think of a better pub if I’m honest.
