Lovely pub and venue! My last visit was marred by some neanderthals and their wo-man blocking the entrances to the loos! On coming back from the loos, the woman spat her drink all over me! No apology, no nothing! Ignorant people!
First time I'd ever been in. Friendly as owt. Staff friendly, clientele friendly and in a welcoming way. The ale was on top form despite being the first pint off that day, which can be precarious in other venues. Loads of railway memorabilia adorning the place. If I lived closer I would make this a local.

A nice place to visit after a walk in the area. Great beers & Cider, friendly, and some sunny seats outside when the sun shines. Very friendly to walkers and dogs.Didn’t have a meal but the crisps were good!.
