Up for weekend, wife's birthday, not been here for 35+ years. Friday night is normally pizza night so found Casa Franco close by.Food reasonable in terms of quality and price, service from Rosa was exceptional. She was a joy, chatty and made us feel like we were the only people in the place.Would definitely revisit.
This place is a hidden gem. Walking up the promenade trying to find anything that's not a chippy or fast food burger or donut stall we found this Italian restaurant we were starving from the look out side it was nothing to rave about, to be honest I was sceptical about eating here, I had low expectations. No nonsense, small Italian restaurant. We found it by chance on way back to the car after spending the day at the water park and taking a look at the lights. Food was hot and wholesome. Good pizza for the kids. Service was 'down to earth'. It's a very small restaurant but was doing a roaring trade.
