Walking through the Winter Gardens we spotted a new cafe bar. Previously it had been an upmarket restaurant which the stunning decor shows but now it’s a friendly cafe bar. So we had a couple of drinks whilst we had a family chat. We had some wine and crisps. It was very nice. It’s a lovely cafe and if you want a peaceful up market surrounding especially on a cold winters day it’s worth a visit. Great spot for meet ups. Just wow. Pre show dinner (SIX the musical ??❌ ?? ??♥️ ?❌ ??? ???). Lowish expectations but it was very handy. Price was good £25 for three courses Drinks £5 each. FOOD excellent. That's what we're here for. Generous service. The waiters were really enthusiastic and polite.. Menu is restricted, but always something for veggies so see in advance if the choises suit you. Or have steak for a supplement Decor stately high ceilings fresh gold paint. Comfortable seating

Lovely restaurant and staff, however they need to find a way of keep the food hot. Plates are cold so there the food goes cold very quickly. This the second time if visiting, had to say something the first time about cold food. Just been again and nothing changed, food still luke warm, so soon went cold.
