Historic traditional Pub which is full of character and comfortable at the same time. Nice, well sized function room and free car park. Thursday night when I visited, the quiz night was on and seemed really popular. Brilliant to see a Pub busy and people having a good time.Parking: Free car park and free on street parking available close by.
Had the steak pie shortcrust pastry not for me but it was lovely the bar staff and locals are all very friendly and there is even a we dog bar with water towels and treats for our dog we love this place and so close to where we stay when in Blackpool the dog (Gypsy) says we will definitely be back and we totally agree with her thank you to the staff and customers for making us so welcome

We love coming here. We usually come on a Saturday and the staff are so welcoming and accommodating. We are vegetarian and the food is always excellent. Last night's veggie pies and mash were delicious. Beer and wine very reasonably priced. Beer garden in the summer is a real sun trap. The toilets are always spotless too. There is nothing to dislike!
