This pub has a good atmosphere and the decoration on the walls adds and added to an extra layer to our meal. The meal was hot and filling, the chicken burger was cooked well and the Tennessee sauce was good. My partner had Halloumi chips and chicken bites. These were well cooked and were cooked just right, in both colour and flavor The staff were calm and efficient and approachable. In fact our grand daughters received colouring activities, when we approached a staff member.
Easily the nicest Wetherspoons we've been in. Fresh decor, lovely wee booths in the middle and a lovely open fire which was so welcome on our cold stormy day. Usual Wetherspoons food, not fine dining but good food at a reasonable price along washed down with a nice pint (also very reasonably priced).
