Needed a restorative sandwich and a cuppa after walking in the surrounding countryside so looked in to this Post Office cum tea room. Don’t be out off by the modesty of the owner saying ‘we really only do take always now’. He’s an excellent Cook! We had delicious BLT baps with lots of proper butchers bacon freshly cooked. We were a group of 10 cyclist and we popped in for a sandwich and a coffee.The sandwiches were brilliant as was the coffee and cakes.A brilliant little place in a brilliant setting. ?

Village shop & Tea room. Very helpful & friendly owner. Delicious breakfast sandwiches.Shop was dog friendly, we bought takeaway so not sure if the tea room is. Tables & chairs outside. Cash only (or bank transfer). Value for money.
