Great pub. Lovely staff. Tasty food. All three of us really enjoyed our meals, next to a real live fire. I especially enjoyed the Garden Patch Medley and Leek, Asparagus and Cheddar pie (proper good grub). Imagine eating and drinking outside by the canal in the summer is grand.
Nice homely place with open fires to keep you cozy, lots of outdoor seating too for when the weather warms up. The food was nice, we saw the Sunday roasts too, although we didn't get them they looked great. So maybe one for another time.

Visited the malthouse today and the service was fabulous, food delicious but did think it was a little overpriced for the area. Have had the same sort of Sunday lunch but a lot cheaper just down the road.
