My mum and I booked for Monday lunch time. I ate off the Market Menu and my mum ate of the main menu. The Market Menu was two courses for £15.95 which IMO for the quality of the food and friendly service we received is excellent value for money!! Had a lovely lunchtime meal with friends. The pub was busy but service was still good. Our party enjoyed black pudding fritters, chicken stroganoff, Lancashire cheese pie, and small fish and chips.

Monday madness deal , excellent value for money . Can’t go wrong for £10 main course. Cheese pie pastry was excellent , and bonus no mash potato in the pie just cheese and red onion
