“What a corker of a café this little beauty is.Popped in on a very wet and windy Sunday in Clitheroe for something wet and warm.Ended up having a bite to eat while we're there so glad we did.I had the home made beans with egg on sourdough toast, I was cheeky and added a sausage, so glad I did it was lovely and one of the nicest sausage I've had in a while very tasty.Hubby to be had full English he loved it and couldn't stop talking about how impressed he was that the tomato was actually soft and cooked, not just slightly warmed up like you get in most place. I think he told everyone we saw that day, and the poached egg is the best he's had too.Quality of the food here is outstandingStaff were friendly and happy to tell you about the produce that they use from coffee beans to eggs. And the brownies are the best all cakes are homemade.Highly recommend this place whether you're a local or like us visitors for the day it's the place to go for a good coffee and excellent food”

“The Horse Box is a little gem on Clitheroe market. The owner's are a wonderful couple who always go the extra mile and nothing is too much troubleExcellent coffee and food. It's also the ideal pit stop to have a natter (even if you don't know the other customers as we are a friendly bunch in Clitheroe) and take a breather.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options available.Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly and my 8 year old absolutely love's it.Get them a sausage butty and a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and they will be happy.Parking: There is a very large car park within a few yardsWheelchair accessibility: The Horse Box is situated on the market which is all flagged and there aren't any steps.”

“This is a charming little cafe in the center of the village. They offer breakfast and lunch, and also have daily specials. It's small and cozy inside, but they also have outside seating for nicer weather. Located right on the main street, it is a great place to people watch. The hamburger was delicious and filling. The homemade red pepper soup and panini special were hot, delicious, and perfect on a cold, rainy day. The service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.”

“Brilliant two day break at Glamping at Greendale !! We arrived to a very warm welcome. The pods are immaculate with a beautiful view of the Ribble Valley. We met Skye the lovely black Labrador. We had a barbecue both nights and had breakfast in the tearooms, which was amazing. Whilst on our break we walked Pendle Hill and visited Skipton. I can’t recommend this place enough. We loved it that much that we have booked again for the New Year - lovely spot.”
