Special thanks to Nick (I hope that’s his name - the receipt said Nick but totally forgot to get his name), the most loveliest man and his service genuinely couldn’t have been any better. Food was honestly beautiful too.

Dog & Otter
Cliffe Ln, Great Harwood, BlackburnHad a lovely meal at the Dog and Otter today. Was a great pitt-stop on our walk. We had the gammon and chips and the double smash burger and both were delicious and really reasonably priced as part of a lunch time menu. Service was great too and the pub has a nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Thank you!

Zam Zam Spice
52 Queen St, Great Harwood, BlackburnI had the naan with lamb curry — absolutely fantastic! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. The tikka and fish sauce were also delicious, full of authentic taste. Great service and lovely atmosphere — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Dough balls are hit and miss as to either a massive amount of garlic butter (the only way) or barely any at all - there's no inbetween... but otherwise never had an issue with food from here :)

15 Blackburn Rd, Great Harwood, BlackburnAlthough I personally think it should open a bit earlier, that’s just my opinion. I popped in for breakfast and was warmly welcomed by the staff. It wasn’t particularly busy at the time, but it was clear they have a loyal crowd – and I can see why. The food was excellent, the place was clean and tidy, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I really enjoyed watching the world go by through the windows as I eased into the day. A great start to my morning, all in all. I’ll definitely be returning – and if you haven’t been yet, it’s well worth a visit.

Towngate Pizza

The pizzas appear to always be made with care and attention, I can see the individual ingredients on the toppings and it just looks nicely arranged, not just thrown on top of the base.I typically order for delivery and my food always arrives nice and hot and earlier than the estimated time even though I am a fair distance from the shop. Never had a wrong order from them and the drivers are always friendly and polite.

85 Queen St, Great Harwood, BlackburnCall into this cafe after finishing our shopping, and once again the food and service were very good. I had a full breakfast, which consisted of: 2 hash Browns, 2 bacon, 2 toast, sausage, fried egg and baked beans. My wife just fancied chips and gravy and her sister had the cheese and spring onions toasty, all very tasty. Enjoy
