Was my local for a long time, nice staff, decent prices, pizza place attached so you can get food if you want. Pool table and sport on loads of screens and a pub quiz too. Would recommend 100%.

Popped in with offspring, partly to give it a once over, as it was nearby, but also as we were peckish. Had really good value, tasty burgers. Only one chicken burger available, so was given a double beefburger for me instead after they'd checked replacing one with the other was OK. Decent pint too. Overall a very good value place, seemed friendly and would be happpy to return when in the area.

My twin brother Stephen and I were in this part of town on a freezing cold and rainy afternoon and as this pub looked so inviting we thought we would give it a try and what a great find.
