“Not been for awhile - and the wife fancied it. Im disappointed on reflection - food tasted excellent - my gripe is the quantity . Opted for the Mushroom stroganoff with added fillet steak (+£5) on an already £15 dish . Lucky - if there were 2 mushrooms in the dish, and I got a whole 3 pieces of fillet steak in it, too. 6 green beens and a pot of rice . Had I known I was having finedining sized portions, I would have had a starter ! We also waited 20 mins for our order to be took-surprised as it wasn't over busy . Used to be spot on here - good prices -good sized portions, but like a Mars bar, its size has shrunk whilst prices rise.Wifes meal wasn't much better and again £20 I'm sure the owner will defend it ! Shame really - we used to enjoy it here-but I won't be back again .”
