Solo is a Michelin starred restaurant and, as you might expect, the food is excellent. It is worth making a trip for its lunch menu, not just because of the food, but because it offers a superb value for money lunch. First time visit for their set Christmas Lunch set menu. Blimey, it was fantastic! I opted for venison as the most "Christmassy" of the mains and it was delicious - probably the best plate of food I've ever tasted. The sticky toffee pudding was outstanding too. Service was attentive and perfectly paced.
