My wife and I visited on New year’s day for late lunch. We were greeted with a warm welcome and seated at our table by a lovely and kind waitress. This lady could not have been more helpful. I ordered a sizzler plate of beef and chicken. My wife had pork stroganoff. Not only well presented but the meat was so tender melted in our mouth, full of flavour. Thank you chef. My Wife and I have visited for lunch several times and the food is consistently excellent, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The Boat House has a very warm and welcoming feel about it. During my most recent visit I was a bit too animated and knocked over a glass of wine. The staff immediately helped me clean up and gave me another glass of wine complimentary. Great place that gets busy due to the fantastic food & helpful staff. The food was so nice. Make sure you leave room for the selection of cakes they have on offer. I would recommend & definitely go back again.
