Amazing experience! Will be coming again considering busier for Easter service was excellent food was served quickly and would recommend the roast. Portions were big and very reasonable prices will definitely be returning. Giving a little chocolate bunny to our daughter was a lovely touch too. Had to leave this a week to calm down. Went 16/03/2024 10 of us for my sisters 60th. Every meal bar one was terrible, 2 curries sent back cold, Pizza sent back burnt both sides, two steak sandwiches cold, Burger meal Burger ok chips cold but fish and chips ok. The 3 Hunters Chicken were awful.The chef must not care, nobody would of sent those meals out and we waited an hour for them. The waitress who was lovely, was embarrassed bringing the meals out to us.We will never go back got a discount we shouldn't of paid a dime. Give this place a wide berth....

Went yesterday as a treat from my daughter. Unfortunately my meal was awful. I chose hunters chicken escalope with chips. The escalope was rock hard and by the time I had cut off the hard bits there was hardly anything left. Chips were nice but the clump of lettuce obviously just taken from a bag was just dry no dressing. Not sure how this meal came out of the kitchen to be.honest.Again unfortunately I didn't feel I want to complain at the time as I didn't want to spoil a lovely treat we were given With my family and also the waitress came over and said "is everything ok with your meal" and then proceeded to say "yes good "then walked off before we could answer ?? Lovely surroundings love the pub just not a good meal.

The Sandpiper is my favourite place to eat - lovely theme comfortable. I went yesterday for a roast dinner with my daughter. usually have no complaints, The roast was not up to standard - the lamb was fatty and very chewy, the potatoes where not the usual crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. I was disappointed. its not the cheapest but you do expect a good roast.
I am a regular, as the food and service is fantastic. Was served this evening by Chris who was friendly, professional and attentive. A credit to the company.

This is honestly my favourite place for food. I've never had a bad meal here! Food is always piping hot, service time is good, good selection of drinks. Loads of outdoor seating. Huge pub, loads of indoor seating, too! My relatives love it here, too - we recommend it to our friends all the time! The pies are fantastic, especially the chicken and pancetta one. The creme brulee is brilliant. Brownie is lovely (very rich). Always lovely and warm in the pub, too.

First visit here, will definitely return, had a lovely table and a nice quiet area as requested on the booking. Morgan, our server for the evening was exceptionally attentive and answered any questions we had. Great selection of wines and beers, food was lovely, I had the pie which was Yum, my husband had the signature burger, both Meols, we chose chips, which was some of the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back, thanks again Morgan you made our evening.
