First visit here, will definitely return, had a lovely table and a nice quiet area as requested on the booking. Morgan, our server for the evening was exceptionally attentive and answered any questions we had. Great selection of wines and beers, food was lovely, I had the pie which was Yum, my husband had the signature burger, both Meols, we chose chips, which was some of the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back, thanks again Morgan you made our evening.
Fantastic service at the Sandpiper last night. Booked quite late (7:45pm). Andy answered the phone and was very accommodating. Arrived where Andy and Morgan offered us great service. Meal (fish and chips also prawn salad) was top notch. Will definitely be coming again soon.

This is honestly my favourite place for food. I've never had a bad meal here! Food is always piping hot, service time is good, good selection of drinks. Loads of outdoor seating. Huge pub, loads of indoor seating, too! My relatives love it here, too - we recommend it to our friends all the time! The pies are fantastic, especially the chicken and pancetta one. The creme brulee is brilliant. Brownie is lovely (very rich). Always lovely and warm in the pub, too.
