the pub itself is lovely and great staff so i wont mark them down on here for the state of the price increase. The staff do an excellent job but Greene King need to think about what they're doing. And for people leaving chain pubs a bad review because of prices need to get off the internet and go live in a cave. It isn't their faut.
Went here yesterday with my son for the first time in awhile, and I've got to say I had a great experience yet again! The food was great - I had steak and ale pie which was superb? my son had fish and chips which he really enjoyed also. We didn't order pudding, as too full up!If I had to change one thing, it would be that there was a little more variety for puddings options but that's it! I give it a full 5 stars all round ? Theres a lovely chilled atmosphere too and a nice seating...read full review
