Roasta Preston finally reopens!This has to be the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants (cantonese cuisine to be more specific) in Preston that beats many in Manchester or even London!Highly recommend roasted pork with crispy skin, crispy chicken, deep fried oyster, fried rice with fermented vege, stir fried beans with minced pork (or simply ask the owner what popular dishes Hong Kongers would typically order). Hands down the best Roast meats Hong Kong style in the north of England, the little beauty is hidden away in Preston, Lancashire. The roast is done daily and is the best tasting duck and belly pork I’ve eaten in a long time. The belly pork is so crispy that if you have any leftover and take home, should you microwave it to reheat ( oven reheating is best) it is still crispy, doesn’t go soggy like majority of belly pork from restaurants all over the uk. Delicious Cantonese food.Shrimp was cooked perfectly in the sweat and sour sauce. There was plenty of sweat and sour sauce to have with the good portion of rice. The green beans with garlic and pork mince had great umami taste. The pork belly was cooked great too with very nice crispiness on top. Good service from the staff as well.
