I normally like it here.Booked a table online but was 10 mins late but there was plenty of space. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience.We got seated by the door so it was cold everytime it opened. We waited ages to be served and again not very good customer service.We then got served and I asked for one adult roast and one kids roast. We got served 2 kids roasts and then on the receipt were charged for an adult one!! I don't understand why they think you will pay...read full review

Great staff, food better quality than a lot of pub chains more homemade rather than out of a packet from a cash and carry or central kitchen. Will return. Second visit for Sunday lunch 5 in the party and all really enjoyed the food and good comments about the staff. Great value and will return. Recommend.

Great pub with an excellent menu, my one and only gripe is that we called in for lunch this week and it was wet, windy and cold outside but no form of heating inside. This, in my opinion is a problem. I’m fully aware that the cost of heating is high at the moment but this would put some people off.
