Ace just called in for food whilst passing. Warm greeting by the bar staff. As it has recently been taken over pizza is on the menu. And they are great I had the pepperoni and my wife had the BBQ chicken. Well 3/4 of it I was called in to help her finish it. Brilliant atmosphere only stopped for food but ended up making a night of it and we can't wait to come back. Cheers Guys.
Excellent, We asked for buffet for 20 after a family funeral. The sandwiches were varied and delicious. Warm chicken, sausage rolls, mini quiche and triple cooked chips. Gateaux and cream after with tea and coffee. No need to be worried about portions, there was plenty with enough to be taken home in food boxes provided. This place just gets better and better. Great set of lads that go in there (and lasses). Good atmosphere and great ales. Started doing freshly made pizza now, which is great. Probably one of the last true locals pubs about now. ?
