A real country pub great atmosphere, Stephen and Tom are really good host .Open fire which I love , really clean , the bar staff are so polite . Had the earlie bird menu it was amazing .definitely will eat there again.
Went for lunch as the cafe we usually go to was closed . What a pleasant surprise! The Katsu curry and chicken and the sweet potato fries were delicious and my husband’s Cumberland sausage and Mash exactly the same . Nice Sauvignon blanc and cider and all at reasonable prices . Very friendly and helpful staff . Will be going back soon.( The best thing is that they do smaller portions ) PERFECT

Went to this cosy little pub after a long walk, greeted by friendly staff and a lovely coal fire. Ordered the white hart burger and it was cooked to perfection and my partner ordered the steak pie, the meat was so juicy and tender it melts in your mouth, everything is proper homemade and cooked with love. I will defo stop by again for a burger and beer.
