I visited Fitzy’s at the Trapp for dinner with my partner and we had a lovely experience. The restaurant is located in a beautiful country hotel with stunning views of the Pendle countryside. We had a great meal here, the food was lovely. I particularly recommend the spiced gammon on the Christmas menu. The waitress, Brenda, was very pleasant. However, the state of the room meant a great meal wasn't as good as it could have been. The chairs are very low and a bit worn. The decor doesn't match with the rest of the hotel. There's a very nice room with a fireplace to have a drink but the main eating area feels more Wetherspoons than Ribble Valley pub.

We were in the area and decided to call in for an early evening meal. Opted for the 2 courses for £25 for 2 menu. All four dishes were served up nicely and were delicious and plentiful. We decided against a dessert but its only an extra £4 if you want one. Staff were extremely friendly too. We will probably be back to dine again soon.
