Clean chippy, good food, well priced and polite service. Can get very busy around meal times, which is a testament to it's popularity with locals.Serves the traditional fish and chip shop menu, as well as Chinese dishes, kebabs and burgers.Takes cash or card.Note: wheelchair access is restricted, there is a step to gain access.
Normally my wife will go out to pick up the takeaway, but when she gets busy I am tasked with the collection. It was my first time at Mike's, despite having food from there before, and I was really impressed with the service.When I arrived there it was busy, but there were at least six members of staff behind the counter and I think I was served within five minutes. The staff, despite being rushed off of their feet were friendly and provided great service. The food is always good...read full review

The staff is polite and professional and the food is high quality I ordered delivery to America but sadly it was outside the shops delivery area...I was devastated.. because the food is awesome!Vegetarian options: Wonderful and fresh
